Mark Kelley has been a freelance photographer for over 20 years. His photos have appeared on the covers of more than 200 publications including Alaska and national magazines, ten photographic books, brochures, calendars, and annual reports.
Mark was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He moved to Alaska to attend the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. Graduating in 1978 with a degree in juornalism and northern studies, he worked as the photographer for the Juneau Empire until 1993 when left to freelance full-time.
Mark lives in Juneau with his wife and two sons. He and his family are avid outdoors-people, especially enjoying soccer, skiing, and camping.
