“I was born in Colorado and moved to Alaska with my family when I was eleven years old.  I've spent most of my life out-of-doors and loving it.  I am more at home in nature than I am in a house and if given a choice between living in a big house or in a cabin in the woods, I would choose to live in a cabin in the woods--and that for me is an easy choice.  I love children, I love animals, I love art and I love music . . . there is really nothing more to say except that I hope I bring some joy to others with my drawings and paintings.” Nan Lathrop
