Now that Teddy has his car, the open road is calling. He has his license, and he's all ready to go. He takes his good friends, Dolly, PJ, and Charlie Dog and heads for the beach. What happens when Dolly has a bit of an unplanned detour? Will they all get along for the whole trip, or will there be some tension among these friends? Life is a bit like a road trip. There are twists and turns, people don't always behave as we wish they would, and usually our destination is not clearly seen from the beginning. Enjoy going along on this road trip with the Wonderful One-Eyed Teddy Bear and his buddies.
About the Author
After 40 years as a dental school Professor, the author retired; he and his wife sold their home and moved to North Carolina in order to be close to their Granddaughter, Kristi. Granddaddy and Kristi spent many hours together in the car and she often said, "Tell me a story, Granddaddy." The stories he told her were about the stuffed animals that were part of her "family." A main character in all of the stories is Teddy, the Wonderful One-Eyed Teddy Bear. The stories were recorded on a digital voice recorder as they were being told. Then they were transcribed and edited by the author. The sole reason for this effort was to preserve the stories for Kristi's future children and grandchildren. The stories are being published in the hope that other children and adults will enjoy them as well.
